Last
weekend I bought new rain clothes, but then the weather got warm
and sunny. This weekend the rainwear came in handy. The show on
the island of Oland, has to be "the end of the world".
Except for residents in the neighborhood maybe. The rain was pouring
down all way during the four hour drive, and it felt like I was
never coming to the end.
Far to drive, far to walk from the parking to the showground. Difficult
to find the rings, who seemed to be thrown here and there in the
pine forrest. Surface was a mix of grass and gravel, not the best
combination. But the area who is a camping area is very nice. The
whole camping is like a small village, with shops and restaurants.
Many exhibitors are staying for a few days in the nearby cabins.
I met a couple who had like 10 meters from their cabin to the ring.
They were sitting at the porch waiting for their turn in the ring...!
Only one Lakeland terrier entered for judge Ligita Zake, Lithuaina.
Ah Bisous de la Whycroft - 1 okl, CAC, champion
(SUCH), BOB (3 x CAC and Champion in 8 days!)
Critic : "Correct type and proportions. Correct type of head.
Enough nose pigment.Straight topline. Well developed body. Correct
angulated. Coat ok. Moved well. A lot of temperament."
